Temporary Public Access Arrangements for Clickimin Leisure Complex

Following the appointment of DITT Construction to construct the new Gym and Reception area, the subsequent temporary access arrangements will come into operation from Thursday 26 October2017:

• Entry to the Pool Building will be from the service area (behind the building) which is accessed from the Complex access road (as shown in the attached plan).
• Entry to the Dryside facilities will be through the temporary entrance on the south side of the building, opposite the 60:40 facility.
• There will be no access to any part of the Complex through the existing glazed link.

These arrangements will remain in place until completion of the project in November 2018.

Operational Changes from Friday 27 October 2017

When the new Anderson High School opens for the first time on Friday 27 October2017, Clickimin Leisure Complex will accommodate the Physical Education Department.  Please note the following changes to our operations:

• The school will have exclusive use of the Main Hall, outdoor changing facilities, Bowlers Bar and the 60:40 facility from 0830 – 1600 Monday to Friday.  Members of the public will not be allowed to enter any of these areas designated for school use.

• Customers attending classes, using Apex and Aspire, playing bowls or squash during school time should access the Dryside facilities using the temporary access arrangements as described above.

• The changing rooms for dryside activities remain as at present.

• Junior activities will be located in the squash courts and Studio Classes will be unaffected. Programmes for these will be advertised as normal.

Pool Building

• There will be no change to current Pool operations.

Meeting Rooms

As all our meeting rooms will be used for alternative purposes during the construction work, we regret we will not be able to offer meeting room facilities for the foreseeable future.

Please see here for a plan of our temporary access points.
