Updated Drop Off and Pick Up Arrangements – Anderson High School

Over the next few weeks, a new one-way traffic system will come into operation for vehicles dropping off or collecting children at the designated drop off point, located between the athletics track and new 3G pitch.

Under the new system:

• Access to the parking spaces and drop off area will be available via the previously blocked junction on North Lochside.
• All vehicles must exit around the rear of the hostel onto North Loch Drive, leading to the roundabout at North Lochside.
• Vehicles will be able to travel east to west within the parking area but will not be able to exit via the new North Lochside junction.
• It will still be possible to access the drop off area via North Loch Drive, around the rear of the Halls of Residence, for both drop off and pick up purposes.
• Access via the Clickimin Leisure Complex entrance road remains strictly for ASN access only.

The SIC have informed that new signage will be installed shortly to indicate the direction of travel and support a smooth transition to the new system.

We would like to take this opportunity to encourage all parents and carers to familiarise themselves with the new system and to make use of it in order to help minimise congestion and improve the flow of traffic along North Lochside Road.
