The six newly appointed Trustees; Derek Leask, Martin Summers, Bobby Cumming, Grace Barnes, Katie McMillan and Ivor Cluness attended their first meeting on Wednesday 9th December and were welcomed to the Board by Chairman Brian Leask on behalf of the Trustees and Chief Executive Steven Laidlaw on behalf of the Trust.
Chief Executive Steven Laidlaw said “After advertising for new Trustees, I was encouraged to see such a great response. I’m extremely pleased that we have managed to attract such a diverse range of people who hold valuable experience and expertise. I’m very much looking forward to working with the new Trustees at such an important point in our development.”
Long standing Vice-Chair Neville Martin stepped down after 28 years of service and Trustee Lyle Williamson after 7 years of service on the Board. They have both been involved in a number of key projects over the years, most recently including the construction of the new Gym and central Reception area at Clickimin Leisure Complex. We are grateful for their commitment and dedication which they have voluntarily given to the Trust over the years.
