Old english £5 notes no longer legal tender as of Friday 5 May 2017
We would like to remind our customers that there is just a few days left to spend or swap old english £5 notes before they lose their legal tender status.
From Friday 5 May, we will no longer accept the old fashioned english fiver however Scottish £5 notes are unaffected in the meantime.
