Sport and leisure are for everyone — and SRT's “Access2Leisure” concession scheme helps ensure our centres are available to as many people as possible.
For low-income individuals and families, as well as those with health and mobility issues, we provide discounted admission.
For just £1 per activity, you will be able to access a range of leisure activities across all eight of our sites, including:
- Swimming
- Gym & Fitness Suite
- Health Suites
- Fitness Classes
- Racquet Sports (Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis)
- Climbing Wall
- Bowls Rinks & Carpet Bowls
- Junior Courses (term time)
You are eligible to sign up if you receive any of these benefits:

- Access2Leisure Terms & Conditions
- The Access to Leisure Scheme is a concession pay and play scheme for any customer in receipt of certain benefit payments.
- Customers who are eligible for the scheme will have access to activities included in the MORE4life package at £1 per activity. Some junior courses are also included. Please note: the Leisure Link Partnership is not included within the Access to Leisure Scheme.
- Access to Leisure members may be required to provide proof of eligibility at regular intervals.
- Access to Leisure is for individual use and activities are payable at time of booking. Members are advised to book activities up to 14 days in advance to avoid disappointment.
- A photo of each member is required and stored on our computerised system for identification purposes. Our reception staff will request this on your first visit.
- Members must keep us informed of any changes to their contact details.
- Members must present their leisure pass at Clickimin reception to gain entry through access control systems. Rural Centre/Pools do not require leisure passes for access to their facilities.
- If a member fails to comply with Shetland Recreational Trust General Rules and Regulations, or otherwise behaves in an inappropriate manner, we may revoke access to the scheme with immediate effect.
- An induction is required before use of the gym/fitness suite at any facility or toning chairs in the Health Suite at Clickimin. Please enquire at reception for details.
- Shetland Recreational Trust reserves the right to:

What’s not included in Access2Leisure?
Activities that take place exclusively during the holidays, team/group bookings, personal training programmes, climbing wall inductions, equipment hire, and the Clickimin hydrotherapy pool and sensory rooms are not included. Racquet sports are included but any non-members joining you will have to pay a concession charge at reception. Leisure Link Scheme is also not included.
How long am I eligible for the Access2Leisure scheme?
The duration of your eligibility is determined by the proof you provide, in accordance with the eligibility criteria, or until you no longer receive the applicable benefits. You must make us aware if your circumstances change.
