Booking & Cancellations Policy
- Booking Policy
You can book and pay for activities up to 14 days in advance, by phoning 01595 741000 or through our online booking service. If a class is full, put yourself on the waiting list and you will be automatically e-mailed if a space becomes available.
- Cancellations Policy
Please note that all classes are non-refundable. Membership holders must cancel booked activities more than six hours prior to the start of the activity or a late cancellation charge of £2 will be applied. Customer's accounts will be automatically blocked resulting in no further bookings being allowed until this charge has been paid. Bookings can be moved if a request comes 6 hours or more before the booking start time and matches the activity that was booked.
Class Descriptions
BROADWAY BOOGIE
Broadway Boogie is an energising dance fitness workout inspired by musicals from stage and screen. You can dance, sweat and sing to all your favourite musical melodies. With no equipment needed and suitable for all participants, of any fitness level, it is so much fun that you'll forget you're working out! Using principles of aerobic training mixed with resistance and interval training to maximise the cardio component of the class, you'll get a full-body workout that you will love and want to do again and again!
POUND
This exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to all ages and abilities. Ripstix are provided - mats are required.
Beginners BURN
A beginners version of the ‘Burn’ class. Come and improve your all round fitness using your own bodyweight and studio weights. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and exercise can be adapted to suit everyone.
Easy Circuits
If you are new to fitness this is the class for you. Circuit training is a great way to get in shape and an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina. Bringing it back to basics in a fun and motivating environment.
Senior Circuits
Fun and friendship are key in all of our senior classes. Build and maintain aerobic fitness while strengthening muscle, bones and connective tissue with circuit based exercises for that all over workout to keep you healthy and active.
Senior Strength
Strength training as we age has many benefits, including an increase in bone density and muscle mass. This circuit class in our private Aspire studio will contribute to better balance and coordination, and reduce the risk of falls. Preserve bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
Senior ICG - Virtual
The instructor is displayed on the large screen with performance metrics, user interface and beautiful animations to make coaching and following instruction highly motivational and flawless.
ICG Classic Ride
Enjoy a mix of climbs, sprints and steady efforts in this traditional high intensity indoor cycling class driven by upbeat, energising music led by one of our motivating instructors.
ICG Coach by Colour
Using colour zones to guide the intensity of the ride, coach by colour allows for an individualised workout in a group environment. Drive your ride and increase your power as you cycle through the colour zones.
ICG Virtual Ride

FuncFit Circuits
Your ever popular circuit class in our private Aspire studio will help you feel the effects of this total body workout using the functional gym equipment. Build strength, speed and stamina while improving lifting technique, core stability and co-ordination.
FBX
The 20 minute Fatburn Extreme Workout. Maximise results in minimum time. Boosts metabolism, improves speed, power and strength. Get results in a short period of time FBX is a 20 minute maximum intensity bodyweight workout - continue to burn calories for up to 48hrs afterwards. This workout is suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners.
BURN
Come and improve your all round fitness with this class. Working at your own station, you will use bodyweight and studio weights of your choice to push yourself. You will leave feeling better and stronger than when you arrived.
Barbarian Forge
Become stronger and fitter both physically and mentally. The only limit is within your own mind, we will help you to find ways to push beyond the limits you impose upon yourself. Heavily influenced by 20 years’ experience of serving in the military... it won't be easy because it isn't supposed to be!
METAFIT
A HIIT CLASSIC! This class uses training techniques with traditional ’old school’ bodyweight exercises to set the metabolism on fire! Get ready to be pushed to your limits in the original 30-minute workout with an afterburn that lasts up to 24 hours.
Power Forge
The sport of Powerlifting incorporates the three most effective gym exercises for building serious all round power and core strength. Join us in the Power Forge as we focus each week on the squat, bench press and deadlift along with other functional strength training exercises. Whether you want to work towards future powerlifting competitions or just to compete against yourself - come into the forge and start smashing those PB's on a regular basis.
Power Hour
A full body workout to build strength and endurance. This class will tone and target your whole body using dumbbells and studio bars as well as body weight.
HIIT STRENGTH
A 30 minute full body strength workout which will work various muscle groups using time under tension and progressive overload methods, helping to create a stronger version of yourself. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.
HIITCIRCUIT
HIITCIRCUIT is a 30-minute super intense HIIT workout, designed to build muscle, increase power and burn hundreds of calories. This workout uses Dumbells, step and bodyweight exercises to provide you with the all round ultimate workout. The HIITCIRCUIT workout contains voice over music tracks and pre-designed training sessions. Suitable for all fitness levels.
HIIT The Ground Running
A mixture of body weighted exercises, weighted exercises, and light cardio to give you a real good start to your day!
HIIT IT LOW
This low impact HIIT workout will not compromise on intensity. It will still get your heart rate up, burn calories, improve your cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength but will put less pressure on your joints. There will be a mix of bodyweight and dumbbell exercises. This class is suitable for all levels.
HIITSTEP
HIITSTEP is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that uses a step and dynamic bodyweight exercises. It has been designed to improve power, increase strength and burn hundreds of calories. The HIITSTEP workout contains voice over music tracks and pre-designed training sessions allowing instructors to deliver inspirational and motivational workouts.
HIITCARDIO
HIITCARDIO is a 30-minute, bodyweight only, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves endurance, increases power and burns hundreds of calories. HIITCARDIO is the world's greatest infusion of high energy house music and powerful calorie burning HIIT moves. This workout is suitable for ALL levels of fitness.
Restore Yoga
Gentle and Restorative. The class combines slow gentle movement and breathwork. It incorporates elements of Yoga Nidra, also known as Yoga Sleep, Yin Yoga, Guided Meditation and Sound Therapy to bring about balance and relaxation.
Yang-Yin Yoga
Breath work, movement & stillness. This practice is grounding, energising & relaxing, incorporating Yin Yoga and elements of Vinyasa. Come find freedom in letting go.
Free Flow Yoga
Freedom for mind & body. Practising breath work and flowing interconnected poses. This class is a fluid practice linking body movements with the breath in a continuous flow.
Yin Yoga
Find strength in stillness. This gentle, meditative practice works into deep tissue tension by holding static mat based poses, working to your own edge of comfort.
Social Table Tennis
Our social Table Tennis Club is a relaxed, fun session aimed at the over 50s and suitable for any level of fitness or skill. Table Tennis can be great to keep the brain cells active and to help you move your body and in this session the social element is equally important. Even if you have never picked up a table tennis bat in your life, you will get something out of this session.
Move It Or Lose It
A fun mix of exercise to music, balance exercises and strength and flexibility moves for older people.
Chairobics
A fun and upbeat way to exercise and have a boogie whilst remaining seated throughout. If you are coming back to exercise or just getting started, Chairobics with our new Instructor Ruth Archer is perfect for you.
Senior Strength & Balance
This class is a progression from the Otago programme. It’s mostly chair based resistance exercises with some walking balance exercises. Would be suitable for anyone looking to improve their strength, balance, and mobility.
