Exercising in a group is a fun way to get fit and stay motivated!

We have over 35 classes per week. Find out more about the different classes below!

Booking Policy: You can book and pay for classes up to 14 days in advance if you are a subscription holder, and 7 days in advance if you are pay and play customer, by phoning 01595 741000 or through our online booking service. If a class is full, put yourself on the waiting list and you will be automatically emailed if a space becomes available.

Online Workouts Timetable

For £12.00 a week get access to an extensive range of online workouts which you can do in the comfort of your own home! Join in 'live' or catch up at a time that suits you - all of our classes can be accessed via our 'Shetland Recreational Trust' Facebook page. (Our classes may vary from week to week, please see our 'CLC Online Workouts' timetable for weekly scheduled classes). Good news for Gold Subscription holders as these classes are now included in your package.

Fatburn Extreme

Delivered using free weight equipment together with body weight exercises to HIIT the body hard!

Hardcore

A great timed workout with a little bit of everything in it!

Cardio vascular fitness, strength and sometimes with a splash of HIIT! Your stamina will improve as will your confidence!

Intense Focus

£4.90 per class
We will zone in on specific muscle groups using our studio equipment to create an intense muscle burning workout.

This class is not for the faint-hearted, but you will leave feeling better and stronger than when you arrived.

Vinyasa Flow

Vibrant & energising class, flowing asanas/poses linked by the breath, leave feeling aware & focused.

Yin Yoga

£4.90 per class
Gentle/meditative melt into the mat.

Hatha Flow

Designed to create a sense of fluidity and freedom in the body by working with smooth flowing breath and movement to challenge the body and mind.

Power Flow

Build flexibility and strength, avoid injury & feel better, with this sports based yoga focus.

Yang to Yin

£4.90 per class
You’ll leave feeling grounded & find freedom in letting go.

Bringing together the benefits of flowing asanas/poses linked by the breath with more passive gentle/meditative poses. You’ll leave feeling grounded and find freedom in letting go.

Hatha Yoga One

This class is great for everyone, especially those new to Yoga.

The slow “Workshop Style” flow will create a space to break down the asanas so that individuals can build a strong foundation for their yoga practice.

Restore Yoga

Gentle and Restorative

The class combines slow gentle movement and breath work. It incorporates elements of Yoga Nidra, also known as Yoga Sleep, Yin Yoga, Guided Meditation and Sound Therapy to bring about balance and relaxation.

HIITBLAST

A brand new class coming to you, put together by the Fitness Instructors during Lockdown.

Timings of work to rest ratio are different everytime which will keep you on your toes. This class proved a massive HIIT with the 'Lockdown won't stop us' group and is suitable for all levels of fitness.

The world's greatest HIIT workout!

Using only body weight and a STEP! No step? No problem, all exercises can be performed without one... It's just a lot more fun with one!!! 'Don't be lazy... It's time to go CRAZY'

Outdoor Club

Take your fitness outside and embrace the outdoors.

Enjoy a mixture of running and full body training throughout the whole of Lerwick. Come and get a boost of Vitamin D and we'll see you on the running track.

Totally Shredded

This workout is inspired by D&B, 90's, Club Classics & Funky House music. It’s all based around fun and creating a workout that shreds inches from your body. 'Grab that Bacardi....Lets have that PARTY'

Circuit training is a great way to get in shape and an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina bringing it back to basics in a fun and motivating environment.

This class is intense, not for the faint hearted, but you can take it to your own level depending where you are in your fitness journey. You will feel better and stronger after this class.

As the name suggest… this will kill the core. We will focus on core strength and stability, giving you flatter tighter abs. Use this class as an add on to your previous class or come along for a quick 30 minute blast, either way, you will feel the burn!
