Whalsay Leisure Centre opened on the 1st April 1990, providing an excellent facility for all users including school, club and casual use. A diverse range of facilities and activities are on offer at the centre to maintain a high standard of service and enjoyment.
Main Hall and Squash Court:
• 3 court multi activity main hall

• 5 changing areas including disabled change area
• Secure lockers available with coin return locks
Swimming Pool:
• 3 lane - 15 metre heated swimming pool
• Shallow lagoon area
• Pool depths from 0.9 – 1.8 metres
• Disabled hoist access and egress point
• Private cubicles and communal changing available

Fitness Suite:
• Modern fitness suite with range of CV and resistance machines
• 6 CV stations and 5 Fixed Weight Resistance Machines
Meeting Room:
• Small meeting room seating 8 comfortably
• Meeting equipment available including OHP, Projectors and flipcharts available on request.

Viewing Gallery:
• Large viewing gallery overlooking the main hall, squash court and swimming pool
