Membership

The Shetland Recreational Trust operates a Membership Scheme for the benefit of its customers. Membership to the scheme, and the ‘Leisure Pass’ we issue to you, are both FREE of charge. The benefits of joining our Membership Scheme are listed below.

  • Customer details are encoded within the card and are not visible.
  • When the pass is ‘swiped’ at reception customer details are automatically recorded, minimising booking time, recording attendance and collecting Loyalty Points if due.
  • Loyalty Points are awarded for use of certain activities. They are stored on the leisure pass until there are enough to use in lieu of payment. Ask the receptionist how many points you have collected.
  • When a leisure subscription (e.g. Aqua, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum) is purchased, the details are encoded within the pass, activating the correct level of charge each time the pass is swiped. No other card is necessary.
  • Only one leisure pass is required. The same leisure pass is used at all Shetland Recreational Trust facilities.

Please note:

  • Customers are requested to present their pass at reception before using any facility.
  • Please tell the receptionist if you have bought a subscription at another centre.
  • Whenever personal details change, please advise reception and your pass will be updated.
  • Please advise reception if your pass is lost or stolen. A charge of £3 may be made for a replacement pass.
  • A pass cannot be transferred or used by another person.
  • Loyalty Points are not awarded on the sale or use of a subscription.

Bookings

  • You can telephone or call at Reception in person and book a full seven days in advance.
  • You will only be required to pay at the time of the activity.
  • You may cancel any booking as long as you give at least 24 hours notice. If we receive less than 24 hours notice we will make every attempt to re-let the facility for you. If we are unable to do so we will send you notification of the amount due; this should be paid immediately. Non-payment may result in future booking requests being denied.
