The Shetland Recreational Trust prides itself on being the largest provider of sport and leisure facilities in Shetland. The Trust operates a network of leisure centres and swimming pools throughout the isles.
The Clickimin Leisure Complex holds the biggest versatile space within the Shetland Islands, catering for the isles ever growing sports calendar and also for large and small-scale concerts and cabaret events. The Unst Leisure Centre, built in 1988 is the most northerly leisure centre in Great Britain. It boast a 12.5 x 5m pool with lagoon, games hall, squash court, fitness suite, community room, viewing balcony with two pool tables, a football table and also various vending facilities.Find out more >

The Whalsay Leisure Centre is situated centrally at Symbister, only a five minute walk from the ferry terminal, close to all the local amenities. The Centre offers both wet and dry facilities with a wide range of activities for all ages from pre-school swimming to the popular Senior Leisure Club.Find out more >
The original swimming pool, which consists of a 3 lane, 16.7 m and lagoon area was opened in 1988, but grew into a leisure Centre in 2002, when a large extension was added. The North Mainland Leisure Centre now includes a fitness suite, squash court, community room, which includes a pool table, and a luxurious steam room.Find out more >
Scalloway Swimming Pool was opened on Sunday the 4th April 1993 and is situated on the main road into Scalloway next to the Scalloway Junior High School. Scalloway is a small village with a population of about 1000 and is located about five miles west of Lerwick, the main town in Shetland.Find out more >
The West Mainland Leisure Centre, in Aith, is the newest of the Shetland Recreational Trust's Centre's, opening on 7th September 2002. The Leisure centre is situated 21 miles north west of Lerwick and sits next to the Aith Junior High School and Aith public hall.Find out more >
