The Squash Courts were developed as part of Phase III of the Clickimin Leisure Complex and opened in January 2005. The facility was the venue for Squash’s first appearance at the NatWest Island Games when Shetland hosted the Games in July 2005.
The facility is unique in Scotland as it provides three modern glass-backed singles courts with state-of-the-art moveable walls, allowing the courts to be widened to create two doubles courts or one multifunctional space.
This multifunctional space has proved to be a useful asset as it allows us to maximise our customer usage. The area has been used for some of the following activities (the list is not exhaustive).
A full range of equipment is available to hire from reception.
